Sitting here with my coffee this morning watching the Weather Channel. I live 18 ft above sea level 6 blocks from the beach at Surfside Beach. After going through a 4 day early evac with 3 golden retrievers last year for Hurricane Florence and living in a flea bag motel in Lugoff, I am highly resistant to leaving early again until this thing tightens up. Cat 3 or less, I'm staying. One story brick homes are a little more safe. Anyway, I have come to the conclusion that this theory that Jim Cantore is the kiss of death if he is broadcasting from your locale is BS. Think about it...….he's been doing this for 25 years and he's still alive.
