Kemba Walker is by far their best player. He is #6 on the teams earnings list.
Look at the stiffs earning much more than him.

1 Nicolas Batum $24,000,000 a max contract for a guy averaging 9.8 ppg.
2 Bismack Biyombo $17,000,000 journeyman C. How is the heck can you justify this?
3 Marvin Williams $14,087,500 long in the tooth. past his prime.
4 Cody Zeller $13,528,090 misses half his games to injury the past 3 yrs. Duh!
5 Michael Kidd-Gilchrist $13,000,000 a scoring forward that cannot score. amazing.
6 Kemba Walker $12,000,000 best player on team and it's not close.
7 Jeremy Lamb $7,488,372 2nd best player.
8 Tony Parker $5,000,000 I expect him to retire in the off season.
9 Frank Kaminsky $3,627,842 Shoots the 3 and little else.
10 Malik Monk $3,447,480 has underachieved so far. 3rd yr coming up.
11 Miles Bridges $3,206,640 promising rookie season.
12 Shelvin Mack $2,029,463 buried on the bench for a good reason.
13 Willy Hernangomez $1,544,951 decent offense. no defense.
14 Dwayne Bacon $1,378,242 came alive last 1/3 of the season.
15 Devonte' Graham $988,464 back up PG. not a starter level guy.

if the Bees could dump the 1st 6 contracts, they'd save $81 Mil and have little to no problem replacing the talent level at a much lesser cost. Decisions by GM's that left them in this sort of contract position is why the Hornets are doomed to toil in mediocrity.

Their inside play is terrible. I wonder if they'd take a flier on Taco Fall 7'6'' 300 C as a developmental player. My thoughts would be try and get him to the point he could play 10 mins per half. He's certainly big enough. Kabengele 6'10'' 245 from FSU. this guy has some skills but is raw. He can defend, rebound and has a solid perimeter shot plus some post moves. He's going to need developing. Lastly Naz Reid 6'10'' 245 PF LSU can rebound is a very good passer, handles the ball well, is an excellent perimeter shooter and can bang inside. Chris Silva 6'9'' 234 PF USC. I would add him as a FA. I seriously doubt he gets drafted. Yr. 1 he'd be a G League guy. The way he improved from his Fr to Sr year tells me he has a lot more upside to go. He's strong, an elite athlete, had developed a perimeter jumper, he offers rebounding, shot blocking and runs the floor very well. His passing needs work but put him on your G League team and develop that.

These are all 2nd round types.
