I've been called for circuit court jury selection for the second time in 2-3 years. Prior to that it was 6-7 years between jury selection. This seems too soon to me. Anyway, I returned the form, but I think I am going to ask the judge to dismiss me before the selection starts. I am a teacher and around the holidays is a bad time to have to be out of the classroom. Plus we are having a severe substitute shortage.
