Grand Canyon:
We arrived last Monday around 4:30pm. The crowds had left by then. Parking was plentiful. Beautiful sunny day with nice breeze.
Zion: Thursday morning around 9am Another beautiful sunny day. The had only one lane open due to road repair. Took some 1 hour to drive the park. Go early.
Hint: We went to "Bearizona" in Williams. Everyone enjoyed their visit. The three Grizzly bears are very entertaining in the walk about area. They open at 8am so go early
for comfort.
Also: Do not stay at the Holiday Inn in Williams. It is nasty....I just walked in there to use the bathroom and could not leave fast enough.
Sadly it looks like the historic Parry Hotel in Kanab has closed.
