OT: Sidney Poitier dead at 94.

One of the first movies I can ever remember seeing, 1965 A Patch of Blue, I was 6 and if you don't know the movie it was about a blind white woman who falls in love with Poitier, fairly uncharted waters for a movie in the mid 60's in the south. I had probably only met one black person in my life, but to tell you the truth I didn't see anything uncommon about the movie. It just goes to show that a child isn't born with any racial feelings at all. He really was a ground breaker in many ways.

Another good one was Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, featuring the great Spencer Tracey and Katharine Hepburn, along with Poitier. Tracey died shortly after the movie was made.
