The roads are surprisingly slushy and slick. We've only seen about an inch of snow around the Woodruff Rd/Hwy 14 area, which is usually not enough to stick to the roads at all. But there are already traffic ruts. And we were about three cars behind a bad wreck on Roper Mountain Rd (a car lost traction, slid into a tree and flipped on its side). Bottom line - it's worse than it looks. Drive carefully.
