house, or wherever.

I love to hear about unique dishes, that are served by different families living in different sections of a region, etc. It's just fun hearing about other people's traditional Christmas Dinners.

Don't know this year. It will be standing rib roast or tenderloin if at my house. If I go to the in-laws it could be fakin bacon, tofu or some other crap. I'll just eat the veg and drink beer. Sheesh.

We will be in Cajun country for Christmas Eve dinner. My mother-in-law will work for a week (seemingly) preparing her shrimp gumbo. It is very good, I gar-on-tee.

This will be more of a traditional Christmas dinner at our house.

Ham - no turkey, had too much at Thanksgiving.
Mac and Cheese made with Velveeta cheese and layer much like lasagna. Slightly browned on top.
Cranberry sauce
Cream style corn
Ambrosia
Chocolate layer cake with yellow layers and of course chocolate icing.
Green Beans.
Rolls
Sweet Ice Tea.
I think I left out an item or two, not sure.

Christmas breakfast. Various quiche, cheese grits, cheese pastry. We like cheese., Hash brown casserole. Forty year old recipes in the wife's brain.
