Plenty more seats available!

It's way to early to make the comparison, for starters.

Smoke took a 5 time CWS winner at LSU and turned them into a good but not great team. And it's not like he ruined LSU forever, they still have a very good program that enters every season with a legitimate chance to compete for championships, so to imply that Smoke destroyed LSU is an exaggeration. Coach Holbrook is struggling and may miss the post season this year, but Carolina will likely bounce back even quicker than LSU to continue to compete for championships. Reason being, we have Ray Tanner as our AD, and they didn't.

Every program that has won a CWS in it's history experienced a down cycle afterwards, but most eventually bounced back to remain competitive on a national basis. We're no different in that regard.

Searooster, it is very possible you may in fact wear the strongest & thickest garnet shaded glasses of anyone on this planet!

We may be back but it won't be with Holbrook as the coach. And what exactly has ray done as the AD? Oh, that's right, he hired Holbrook.

Guys, let me put things in perspective for some of you. My nightly prayer list currently includes 2 family members and a friend battling cancer. 2 of those 3 are children under 10 years of age. I find myself getting as PO'd as anyone regarding this teams performance this year, until I think about these folks' struggles, then I feel pretty selfish. I honestly didn't plan to even check in on today's game, and spent most of the day on the phone with family and doing yard work, just to have something positive to provide balance to my frustration over the yardcocks apparent free fall the last 3 weeks.

I'm probably going to step away from the forum for a few days (after the final 4, of course), and come back after the Tennessee baseball series to see if this team has found some confidence in itself. Too many other things more worthy of my attention going on.

Colonial Center first to see this....now the diamond. Sad to see those facilities build and then the teams fall apart. And sorry, but ladies' basketball is great for girl sports, but I'll watch a losing men's basketball team any day over a women's game.

SCsandlapper Really? go ahead and watch a loser men's program over

a women's program that works their butts of, competes, wins, and brings home championships. I guess the men's team isn't the only loser out there.

Seriously, I ma not negative, but we may not make the post season. With the schedule the next 10 confrence games we may be 5-6 games beloe .500. Serious danger zone

I am truly sorry about all of that you are facing. I lost my dad two years ago to cancer and hate to see or hear anyone having to cope with that dreaded illness.
