So it seems as though former USC players that played under Spurrier and Beamer are singing his praises to the powers that be. So, this is based upon their experiences with him as a teenager/young adult.
What I don’t understand is, why would that matter? Aren’t there current players that still think Muschamp is a great coach? I’m sure they can offer some insight into his personality, but that should be a nominal consideration in my opinion. I certainly would not want that to be a major factor in deciding on a huge hire.
