Talked with newly-offered junior college wing Langston Wilson, and he said he got the offer after a Zoom meeting with Frank Martin and the rest of the South Carolina staff. On the visit he got the offer and then was taken on a virtual tour of the facilities now that coaches are in the office and can show those to recruits (even virtually).

Wilson and new assistant Will Bailey built a very strong relationship from what Wilson was saying during Bailey's time at St. Louis, and was one of the first guys Bailey reached out to once he arrived at South Carolina.

They share a lot of commonalities, but Wilson—who plays junior college ball in Georgia right now—is originally from Philadelphia and Bailey coached and recruited that area when he was at La Salle.

Frank Martin reached out to Wilson recently before the offer as well and the two hit it off, oddly enough about jazz music (Martin loves jazz and Wilson likes jazz and plays the saxophone).

There's no specific timetable for a decision for Wilson, he just said when he has the right feeling about a school he's going to commit. He does want to take a few visits and there's a "strong likelihood" South Carolina is one of those.

Alabama offered recently along with Penn State and he said he's getting interest from a lot of schools including Seton Hall, Oregon and Memphis.

We'll have all of his comments in a story soon.
