Last night Max Fried, for the NY Yankees, got through the first inning on 5 pitches, against Seatle, one of the top offensive producing teams in MLB. Obviously, the absolute minimum is 3.

Thinkaboudit .... 1st inning, ... batters often take a first pitch or two when initially facing the new pitcher. These guys didn't. No Big Deal, just interesting & the lowest I ever heard..

3 outs on 3 pitches, it doesn't seem to be extremely rare! This article is from 2019.

Thank You Sir!!!! I have often considered myself an Absolute Asshole when discussing accuracy AND THE TRUTH.

YOU have exceeded any hope I have ever had of communicating with the uneducated of whom post, too regularly!.

DUH??? 2019 ... vs YESTERDAY in MLB!!! vs your minor league stat???

I watch a good bit of baseball, and I can't remember ever seeing it happen, so it seems pretty rare to me!

I've seen the Giants do this against my Cardinals years ago. Two on, no outs. New pitcher enters game. Gets 3 outs with one pitch.
