Rain and The Scoreboard Clock

Is it just my imagination, or does it seem like our scoreboard clock goes out virtually every time it rains? It seems like this has been a problem for 20 years or more.

I am guessing it is wireless. I know that high school scoreboards are almost all wireless now and the heavy rain interferes with the signal.
