At this juncture all Gamecock sports teams are in decline. At least from the mens side. The money has been put up for facilities so this should not happen. It all points toward Ray Tanner. The athletic division is failing under his watch. Tanner was a great baseball coach but has failed as athletic director. Time to move in another direction. I cant be the only one that understands this.

You aren’t. The problem is the leadership at the school doesn’t see it or care.

There is nothing more true than this. The whole administration, from top to bottom, is too apathetic, and worse, paternalistic. They will not turn on each other. Look for no changes with Tanner or Muschamp.

^^this^^
They are too comfortable in their little clicks. Too busy patting each other on the back to notice the sinking ship.

We need a leader at the top who has the will, determination and the balls to do something about this mess that's been created in the AD. If we don't get bettersoon, then it may become fashionable to NOT give to the university. Stay tuned.

Most of our woes goes back to him not letting Spurrier go when he wanted to. Totally mismanaged the situation.
Was a decent baseball coach but did not know Michael Roth was a pitcher and found out only when he run out of pitching in College World Series. Without Roth he would have never won a National Championship.
Turned out to be one of the best college pitchers ever.

Laugh at it all you want, but the BOT and USC administration isn't all in. Far too many politics in Columbia to produce a winner. Heads need to roll and only way they will is if you stop giving or reduce giving

THE best.

I checked into the other board, which is more conservative than this board (civilized too), and they agree that Tanner must go.
