Thanks. This thread wasn't meant to be taken seriously and it was created before the news broke. He should have never gotten an extension last year but not surprising considering we have a big clown running our sports department.
The extension significantly reduced his prospective buyout. Again....how stupid is that?!?!?
Understood. Still wasted another 3.3 million paying him. You're still a Ray loyalist after all these wasted years. Our mens programs have sucked for years now thanks to Ray's action/inaction. And thanks to fans that still accept mediocrity. Please remind us now how Ray keeps a balanced budget in the athletic department and how commended he should be and most of all how happy the fans should be with that.

That;s fine. You don't like him, I do. Thing is I have never heard of an AD that was successful in all his hires. Crean was supposed to be a "no-brainer" for UGA....that turned out well. Clemson fans are not so happy with their AD either.
And regarding Martin, he's been around longer than Tanner in their positions....and Frank also has several apologists/defenders on the Board....no doubt about that as was apparent at the end of last year.

Kornblutt said that Ray went to fire Frank last year and the BOT leaked it and caused opposition to arise and forced Ray to back down. So, this kind of thread would not be well-informed at all!
A couple/few members of the BOT leaked it which resulted in the remainder of the BOT and Tanner backing down.....but true otherwise.
