despite the departures i think this is a strong class based on need. losing the ots was bad but we have some guards who can move there in the short term. we bring in some legit pass rushers and have a bunch of secondary guys who can play

in short this class isn't ranked as high as some others but it fits our needs. granted it did a better a job a couple of months ago but going 7-6 will do that

Agree, I hate losing Palmer and company from the offensive line, but OL is one of the more coachable positions in football, as far as developing skills and technique. I think we'll be fine with the commits we have lined up, if we can hang onto them. Otherwise, it looks like we've got a good class with loads of defensive talent coming in, especially at linebacker and defensive end.

I'm very optimistic that we get back on track to compete for an SEC championship by 2016.
