EUGENE — Saturday started off bad for the Texas Southern women’s basketball team and it didn’t get any better on the court against No. 1 Oregon.
A duffel bag containing the uniforms for the visiting Tigers was taken from a conference room at the Graduate hotel in downtown Eugene Saturday morning, according to Eugene police, who were called at 10:13 a.m. Saturday. Police said there was no information on the suspects as of 4:50 p.m. following TSU’s 99-63 loss to Oregon at Matthew Knight Arena in which the Tigers were forced to play in their practice jerseys, with some featuring numbers made from athletic tape.
