so wasn’t there a one-time-for-free transfer rule? (Or am I mistaken?) Does this mean he’ll have to sit a year before his next year to play? Crazy.
This probably says a lot about him as a player and not being someone this team needs on it right now.
Oh well. It really doesn’t matter. We will get boat raced by most teams.
Kid hits the transfer portal twice in less than a year. I was happy when he came. But seeing how unsettled he is, I'm okay with seeing him leave. I think most other programs/coaches are going to see this as a red flag.
Good luck to the young man. It will be interesting to see if he lists any reasons as to why he chose to enter the portal.
Hard to imagine. Some guys on this board could have made the 2-deep by game 9 last season.
Couldn't take the heat in Columbia and let that name be forgotten forever.

Hard to say. Csn you tell me what you know about our DL s / linebackers / new coaches on D that lead you to this conclusion
Plus what about the current RBs / O Line etc as well as new offensive coaches like Stepp etc helped you decide your comment ?

Hard to imagine the cornerback position being other than a big detriment right now.

Maybe he couldn't figure out this amazing defense that no offense will be able to figure out that I have been hearing about
He was a safety that played for us one year under Jon Hoke in 2015 as a grad transfer from Kansas, he was on the team when we could not stop the simple slant at Georgia, and lost 20-51 and Grayson lambert went 24/25 for 330 yards and 3 td's. Why we could not adjust in that game at all still boggles my mind.
He had good size and was a good athlete and was second on the team in tackles on his one season with us. Without him, we would of been much worse.
After his one season here he went on to the NFL and was on and off Tampa's roster/practice squad for several years, had 54 career NFL tackles, was about to play in the CFL in 2020 before Covid.

That's what I was thinking as well but Gray was raving abt him
He was starting on Friday, his film and play last year at Kansas imho seemed very good, its a loss for sure.
