I went to Heathwood Hall this afternoon. Really saw some high level basketball.

Here are the USC players I did not see, or else did not recognize:

Brandon Martin
Erik Stevenson
Josh Gray
Ford Cooper, (Sindarius Thornwell)
TaQuan Woodley, James Reese, (PJ Dozier)
Tre-Vaughn Minott

Were some of the above guys there, but perhaps I did not recognize them?

It was hard to figure out who the players are, since they do not wear numbers corresponding to a program listing. Also, the gym echoes a lot, and that makes it hard to recognize player's names when they score.

A J Wilson is really an athletic guy! Jacobi Wright and Chico Carter can hit from way outside.

I was unable to attend today, but will be there later in the week to photograph the games. I'm still working on putting faces to names as I haven't seen these guys in person yet this year - looking forward to seeing what they can do. Especially the outside shooters.

From my notes Brandon Martin, Ford Cooper, and PJ Dozier all played. The rest of the players you listed recorded no stats/did not play.

Here was the breakdown of Sunday's games:

Game 1: Hood Construction 90 vs. Firehouse Subs 66

Devin Carter 35 pts., 3 reb., 2 ast,
Wildens Leveque 6 pts., 5 reb.

Ford Cooper 5 pts.
Mike Green 11 pts., 1 stl.

Game 2: Chick-fila Two Notch 86 vs. First Citizens Bank 73

Chico Carter 19 pts., 3 reb., 5 ast

Jacobi Wright 16 pts., 2 ast

Game 3: Jets 76 vs. Honda of Columbia 79

AJ Wilson 15 pts., 7 reb.
Brandon Martin 1 ast

Former Gamecock PJ Dozier 9 pts., 3 reb., 2 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk

I do not know how I possibly missed PJ, but I guess I did. Maybe he changed his hair. It is so hard to figure out who is who without a program with corresponding numbers on the players. The announcer echoes in the gym and is hard to understand. It is not hard to decipher the elite talent that was on the court yesterday! I am really glad that Devin Carter was able to get so many points during the first game. Looks like he is going to be special!
