Antwane Wells Jr. is a second-team WR, Trey Knox is a third-team TE, and Tonka Hemingway is a third-team DT.

And of course Kai Kroeger and Mitch Jeter were first-team specialists. Dakereon Joyner is a third-team all-purpose.

Saw it but there are few things in the world more irrelevant than media picks for football.

Looks like Georgia has finally reached the promised land and replaced Bama as the SEC default pre-season champion.

It is guaranteed that there will be several more pre-season picks in the next 40 days. And most no one would consider my picks worth anything.
However, I really think UT is going to drop the ball. They are going to be so keyed up about last year and trying to make up for that loss, that our Gamecocks are going to walk into Neyland Stadium and upset them yet again, 24-17.
They are still going to be confused by Spencer being able to hit receivers all over the field and put so much effort into stopping him that DK and company will rush for almost 200 yards and 2 TD's.
I see us finishing 10-2 regular season. We will give UGA a challenge, but they still win. After a big win in Missou, we will play awful against A&M for our second loss. Undefeated at home this year.

I think the media will regret not adding Ahmarean Brown to the special team list. I think Brown will make some big plays on special teams this upcoming season.
