To me, Shane jumps off the page as our man. He is a quality coach and person with broad experience. He believes South Carolina can become a big time winner. He has been very successful here as well at Virginia Tech, Mississippi State and Georgia Tech. He could recruit SEC territory and land recruits from Virginia and North Carolina, which the article points out should be considered as in-state territory. Shane is 38 and would be committed to our long term success. He would be welcomed by players and fans.
