Shaq Davison

I know he redshirted last year because of an injury his senior year of HS, but he was supposed to be a big time get when he signed with the Gamecocks. Not knowing a ton about him I was thinking he was similar to Bruce Ellington in that they were both qbs in high school and are smaller guys. Does anyone have any info on him if hes expected to play this year?

I watched him in HS his sophomore year and he returned a kick off for a TD against Byrnes and it looked like he was shot out of a cannon. He had a knee injury later that year and has never seemed quiet as explosive. At QB he could throw just good enough to keep the defense honest but was a much better runner. I still thought he was a heck of a player with plenty of intelligence and leadership on the field.
