Three-star WR Shawn Smith has decommitted from South Carolina. As Smith says in the Tweet below, he met with the staff this weekend and didn't feel as if he was a priority for the staff anymore.
Shawn Smith is right in that OrTre Smith, Shi Smith and Chad Terrell were/are the Gamecocks' top priority at that position and they're still in good shape with Terrell. The staff was up front in letting him know that. This is a situation where both sides will shake hands and wish the other well.
