The cookie deal for players was a ruse. Someone at the NCAA wanted us to suffer bad. The rent "subsidies" for some of our players was another one.
All of this while some of the big schools were paying players to play and got off scot free! Always has been a double standard/

Here's one thing you CAN bank on. Just as five in a row have come and gone. This little run you're on will also come and go. So enjoy it while it last.
Things do cycle. But this one is not so 'little'. Cant get any bigger. And with the 2017 class the cycle is still on the upswing. This is more trend than run.

who said it's not against the rules - it was an unofficial visit so no gifts, meals, rides, etc.
Minor details like rules are not going to stop their practices of doing whatever it takes to get recruits.
This charade, can't continue forever, as there is absolutely nothing in those hills that would possibly appeal to a kid looking for an opportunity to get a great education and play for championships on the national stage.

Judging by mom's comment that its the "usual stuff hotel rooms come with" it looks like most schools have been doing stuff like that.
