So who would you like to see win the CWS?

Terrific game last night between Vandy & NCSU. These days, the Pack reminds me of our 2010 & 2011 teams, which expect to win every game.
That mentality seemed to be missing from the 2021 edition of the Yardcocks.
I also noted that we played 5 of the 8 CWS teams this season.

That leaves mostly ACC teams, which is unbearable to me. Tennessee is gone. I hate 'em, but they were thought to be something. They and Arkansas now go down as the two most underachieving teams thus far in the playoffs, and both are SEC teams. This league was touted way too much.
Was not pulling for the Vols; moreso was pulling against Texas, the bully of the Big XII.

I liked Texas today. It lasted about 2 seconds. Then I was over it.
I don’t pull for any team in orange….unless they’re playing the taters 😂
So its very possible that after tonight the two unbeatens will be ACC teams.

I think those teams were off-the-charts better than this State bunch and I'm not given to blind boosterism.
Agree. talent wise not close. Guess it just how scrappy they are.

I never said I pulled for them. I simply stated that I liked them for about 2 seconds. That was after I saw the final score. And then I was over it.
Bulldogs are a nice story. Like to see them take it because I'm in Charlottesville today at a UVA facility, and these folk are insufferable.

Yeah they have kinda grown on me watching them lately. Their coach seems like a good guy to play for.
Our two championship teams were dream teams.
No..live in Florence..he was accepted and will be studying meteorology and atmospheric science..they have a really good program...
I was a papermaker by trade. They have a very strong pulp and paper major also - one of the best.
Vandy just pulled that one out of their butt after two outs in B9.
I feel like that's our own doing. We know very little about winning close or closing out games with the type of ball we play.

Lemonis was mentioned on here, and those of us who liked the idea were laughed at because he "didn't have enough experience" and wasn't the "big name" everyone wanted. Basically told we were idiots to even suggest him. Maybe some of us do actually know a thing or two about baseball.
