Some of the best facilities in the nation but nothing to seriously show for it

Just take a look at the environments as well as facilities the football , basketball and baseball teams play in.

Baseball with its back to back National Championships...is it..and that was prior to the current coach.

Top notch facilities for sure..some of the best not only in the SEC but the nation and not much to show for it especially when you look at hoops as well as football. No SEC Titles , no major bowl games or runs in March madness..a ton of money spent on building facilities with a minimum return.

So what say you , what is the issue or problem. Just curious.

Since 2009. 2 Baseball NC, a runner-up , SEC titles, 2 SEC east titles. Football 1 SEC east title , 4 bowls in a row, Total winning record against UGA, UF,UT, and clemson. A number of high profile draft picks. Plus 56 win in 6 years. Lady Gamecocks SEC title and final four and this is just the beginning for the lady's program. Plus we have the right guy to turn the men program around.

Doubtful Jeff on the right guy to turn the hoops program around , if he does not get himself under control nothing is going to take place.

Regarding your other notations - how many SEC football titles has a Spurrier coached team provided.
How many major bowl games that would end with a team being final ranked in the top 4 has a Spurrier coached team won.

How many and I am not talking about girls hoops , but how many (outside of a couple of NIT titles) and that is not the Big Dance , how many times have the Gamecocks been a factor in major college hoops , you know the teams that make to the elite 8 , final 4..how many times....???

Baseball is a non entity when it comes to what most look at , Football and Basketball..all is well that South Carolina has won two titles when it comes to baseball..but for the most part your athletics are judged on what you do in the two majors..hoops and football and when you look at those two sports..Nothing...nothing on the major national level.

Millions have been spent on a football stadium ,supposed upgrades to the CLA as well as building a state of the art baseball facility..to obtain what , two baseball titles..and that is it.

Thankfully we have some girls that can ride horses and win the NCAA Equestrian title and maybe we have a womens hoops program that might eventually pull off a national title..if Geno ever leaves U.Conn...lol.

You left off that equestrian title, and then we were a runner up before that, I think.

Yeah, I know it's Bleacher Report but I'm just saying our upgrades are not that big of a deal. Everybody in the SEC and the Big plus is upgrading their facilities with all the money that's flowing. We're probably a little above average.
