I saw the lineup and Wynkoop is our DH tonight!?! WTW? Saw the lineup on the gameday app......
not saying he is not one, but havent read or heard anywhere of him being a good hitter.

Wynkoop was never going to bat. This is something we have done before and Vandy does a lot. You list a pitcher that is not going to play that night in the starting lineup as the DH, then when that spot comes up and calls for a certain type of hitter to maybe lay down a bunt or whatever you use that guy. Only works for the first time up, then you may have to use someone else.
