Looking at the soccer roster from gamecocksonline.com it lists Luciana Zullomeister, Ryan Gareis, Lauren Chang and Sarah Eskew as graduate student. So i assume that they will be returning this season, which I think is a huge bonus for South Carolina and a good chance at winning the SEC regular season or the SEC tournament.

Yes all four are returning. Eskew tore an ACL In The fall season so her availability is uncertain. Zullo was shut down the last 4 or 5 games but should be full speed. We also got a very favorable schedule for conference play. No Ark. or A&M

In a preseason poll, the ACC has five teams ranked in the top seven spots. The top ranked team in the SEC is Texas A&M in the ninth position with Arkansas ranked 13th and South Carolina at the 17 spot. Florida and Tennessee did not even crack the top 25 nor did they receive any votes.

Vandy and Ole Miss also made the top 25.

UF was a totally unhinged team last season. They went 1-6-1 in conference. They had some injuries, two major outbreaks of Covid, horrendous goal keeping, team bickering and poor coaching. With the talent that has run through that program they should have 4-5 national titles, instead of 1. Becky Burleigh has done less with more talent than any coach in women’s soccer.

IMO UT was smoke and mirrors last year and they pissed out a win against us.

We won the division last year and I expect us to repeat, maybe even win regular season since Ark and A&M are not on the schedule. Will do my research and post more later
