example that they do. Football is no different. Players make the biggest difference.

Blasphemer! Because Justice Cunningham.

(For the record, I agree with you 100%)

Agree star rating does matter in the sense it does give an observation of what type a player is and is projected to be. Of course like anything sometimes it doesn't work out as planned but for the most part on a consistent basis the top teams do get the top players who are high rated stars. Alabama didn't build that program on hoping a bunch of 2 and 3 stars would pan out, same goes for UK in basketball.

The whole star conversation cracks me up, especially for football.

Ive done the research for the last 10+ national champions in football and if you look at their team recruiting ranking for the previous 3 (maybe even 4 years) they all have top 10 recruiting classes.

How can stars NOT matter?

They do and we need to accept that we're on the outside looking in as long as Spurrier is our head coach.

I love the man as our coach but he's dead wrong with his approach to recruiting.

You give Spurrier Alabama's recruits and he's winning as much as, if not more, than Saban. I'd bet my life on it.

Spurrier chose here because of the lack of pressure and he calls the shots. It is what it is.
