I wouldn't say he "slammed" you, but rather correctly pointed out we have the #1 women's basketball team in America, and it seems odd that anyone would want to "forget" that in 10 days.
It's pretty clear the OP meant our men's basketball team. Since, that was the team that played and lost last night. The same team that Martin has lost 19 straight road losses with and the board ecperts were predicting a NIT bound team. This team won't even sniff the CBI.
Sweet. So probably only 11 days until the repetitive bitching about our baseball team and coaches begins. Can't wait.
This. I was actually slightly relieved when we lost last night, because everyone momentarily stopped bitching about football to bitch about basketball instead. Bitch, bitch, bitch, all the time. How do they find the energy? It just seems so tiring.
We have to be positive. With the improvement we are seeing we ought to make the NIT in.....2020?

If you make negative comments about our teams you'll get slammed. The MBB team plays their hearts out. They were down 5 players last night.
