There are far too few people who are able to put sports in a proper perspective and Marty does a great job of it. When I was a USC student in the 1950's discussing the past Saturday's game, my friend Bob Fulton reminded me that expecting young college athletes to fulfill your personal ambitions was fool's errand. Never forgot that and it allows me to enjoy Gamecocks sports whether they might win or lose. It is so much more fun to win though!!
