That ball changed rotation.

As if I needed another reason to dislike basketball. Now, instant replay can be disregarded. What a joke big time sports officiating has become!!!

They "couldn't see it" even after looking at the replay. Funny thing is you can see the Dookie's finger get bent backwards on that last angle.

not only that, you can clearly see his fingertip bend as it contacts the ball briefly. Refs clearly missed that call.

I don't believe they missed it at all. They consciously chose to give Duke the ball.

Duke got all the calls, Didn't even call Okie's foot on the baseline in the last 5 min. Ref's suppose to always be watching for that.

Yep. The tip of the finger clearly bend slightly backwards and the rate of rotation on the ball clearly changed.

It was stated that the refs didn't have the same camera coverage as CBS. That being said not sure if they saw it as the viewers, clearly tipped by Duke.

No excuse with all of the technology and cameras that was available tonight! Duke could have won this game without help and no-calls from the refs.

All the replays clearly showed the rate of rotation on the ball changing. Sorry, no way they didn't see it.

Exactly right Bo. No way they didn't see it!

But to pretend that that had an impact on the game makes the skeptic automatically a crazy person who doesn't understand basketball.

Since Wisconsin had cut the lead to 3 with under a minute, and had to start fouling, I'd say that it had an impact.

That said, while the fouls were heavily and wrongly in Duke's favor, the number of uncalled walks was heavily in Wisconsin's favor. #44 walks every time. He'll fit in when he goes pro.

Traveling is almost never called anymore, especially on offensive moves. Didn't Heelz post a video on here once where a Duke player changed pivot several times taking something like 5 or 6 steps without traveling being called?

Yep. Just like the missed shot clock violation Wisconsin had against Kentucky. Clearly the clock had expired with the ball still in the guys hand but the refs didn't see that either.

You need to be banned on this board.... you make way to much sense

That was one horribly officiated game. I think it started ok, but then things went downhill. Also, I'm wondering if the REFS get the same camera views as what CBS showed.

Very true about the shot clock in the Kentucky game. Wisconsin players/coach/fans whining about the officiating need to remember the shot clock violation at a crucial time of that game. Many games are called differently and its up to the players and coaches to adjust the way the refs are calling the game. Looked like Winslow did touch the ball but I saw some very weak calls against Okafor in the first half so refs are not the reason Wisconsin lost.

As my Grandpa said, if your Aunt had a set, she'd be your Uncle. Missed calls on both side. Long scoring droughts doomed Wiscy. Not realizing Grayson Allen was going to drive every time he got the ball. And crying...oh... The Wiscy coach caused Kleenix to call in their second shift to up production for him alone. Coulda Woulda Shoulda. Hard fought game between two tough teams. A shame either had to lose but there can only be one winner.

Grayson Allen's HS team came here to the Beach Ball Classic last year. He played for a team out of Jacksonville, FL. I didnt watch him but co-worker did and said he was really good. Won the Slam Dunk contest. Duke has another player coming in next year that has been down here for same tournament couple times out of Ohio. Luke Kennard I think is his name and he was also very good.
