There are several college baseball teams that have lost two and three games but are ranked

in the top 10 and the Gamecocks are ranked 14 and not lost a game. How is that?

Ole Miss was #1 ranked last weekend an lost series to UCF. Dropped to #4.

Ucla lost opening weekend series, also. Then one game last weekend. They were #2 the first weekend. Now have fallen to #10.

Miss St lost opening weekend one game to ranked Texas Tech, and then one game in the series this past weekend. Now they are struggling to find an opponent this weekend due to Tenn Tech covid problems...

If you are ranked high enough to start with, one loss in a weekend will not make you drop very far...

I think we are getting plenty of respect and I would rather this team feel a tad bit underrated at this point and carry that chip on their shoulder as long as possible. It sure is fun to have a good baseball team again.

Well there's about 10 baseball polls nowadays, so I have no clue which is what. And there's no certain poll which is universally used by the media. Hard to keep up.
