There is not a coach in the SEC who looks forward to playing South Carolina

I know our season hasn't been a success but we the way we have come out and played in some of these games has got to make other coaches nervous about playing us

This is definitely true, however, this team still lacks the ability to close out games which is the reason we're fighting for an NIT bid vs. an NCAA bid. Today was another unfortunate example of this. Two possessions down 2 at the end of OT and Silva turns it over (for the 3rd time since being reinserted with 1:13 left in regulation) and then Booker misses a wide open Haase for the potential GW.

The pivotal moment of the game was with about 10 minutes left and an 8 point lead, Silva picks up a 3rd foul going after a loose ball. It wasn't much of a foul if it was one at all but it put him on the bench allowing MSU to go on their run.

This team has a lot of fight and is only just now starting to play Frank Martin style ball. Carolina took an MSU team which is 18-1 on their home court this season to overtime and came just shy. Really disappointing to blow a 12 point lead in the second half though.

This team has shown a lot of character over the past three games. Hoping for a deep run in the SEC Tourney, and that is possible if they are hitting on all cylinders.

Nothing better is possible. The logic is ironclad.
I guess it’s true...

Don't forget we gave up about 3 or 4 "and-1" opportunities which stopped the clock, allowed them to chip into the lead and got their crowd back into the game.
