We are young and inexperienced, and I don't expect a lot of wins this year. I believe in FM, and I think we will eventually be a good team. But when you give no effort like the team just did in the second half, then you don't deserve support. Today's performance was inexcusable and a sad reflection of the lack of leadership from our team. I'm really disappointed...

I'll channel my energy into the women's team. They play with pride and swagger. I can assure you that they will fight for the entire game against UCONN - win or lose.

The men need a lot more talent, but they need heart even more...

Vandy is the youngest team in the SEC... I really want to know where their effort came from.

Hey, all Frank needs is his recruits and another 5 years. Plus, we're a young team you know...

3 star recruit- freshman- beat our butts today.

We look clueless most of the time.

And we we aren't getting better.

I am not a fire Martin person but it does make you wistful thinking back and wondering where we'd be if Hyman had hired Marshall instead of Horn. Think that decision has set back basketball like the Woods and Scott hires did in football. When you pick the wrong coach in a major sport, you can write off a decade at minimum. Tanner should be shivering at night thinking about who replaces Spurrier.

Youth and inexperienced is not why we are losing. The teams we are playing just have flat out better players than we do.

I will respectfully disagree and be there Tuesday night. It's easy to

pull for the winners and encourage all of us to support the ladies, but the men need support too.

GOCOCKS! BEATUCONN! BEATMIZZOU!

Of I'm not mistaken, only watching/pulling for a winning team is the definition of "fair weather fan".

We've had three chances to hire Marshall. Instead Hyman gave us 1) a contract extension for Odom 2) Horn and 3) Martin.
Tanner and Spurrier covered up a lot of major Hyman screw ups.

Didn't Hyman hire Staley? As far as Tanner is concerned, we won't know how good an AD he really is until he has to actually fire a coach and hire a new one.

He might be replacing both in the same year. Spurrier is hanging it up very soon as we all know and if Martin does not at least make the NIT next year Tanner will have some tough decisions.

There will be crickets at home this week. We play to see who is the last place team in the SEC.
No reason to pay to watch that.

I would say that realizing what a gem the school has in Dawn Staley and RT renegotiating her contract when Ohio State came calling indicates that he is a good AD.

This is only Frank's 3rd season; Stallings has been at Vandy for 16 years. They also beat Florida the other night. We only lose 1 senior and have 2 great freshmen coming in next season along with the 2 injured freshmen from this season.

And Stallings destroyed Martin with one of the worst teams he's had in his 16 years.

Yes, a down UF team that we should have beat in our first conference game at home, but couldn't.

That's great. I hope it makes a huge difference because as of right now I'm struggling to see the "improvement" that you and other posters see.

You've got he wrong definition. I have plenty of things to do at 4PM on a warm Saturday afternoon. I chose to watch a team that didn't care to win. In hindsight, I could've accomplished more doing something else.

Its a pretty simple formula: I give effort to support the team and they give effort while playing. They give no effort, and neither will I.

This isn't about winning and losing. What I saw yesterday wasn't a well played game that resulted in a loss. This was purely lack of effort and focus, and that's inexcusable at this point in the season. I refuse to waste my time watching a team that doesn't care to win when they are many other more productive things to do with my time.

The players have to do their part, and that's not happening right now. They can't shoot, they need more talent...yada yada. All are valid points. But there is no excuse for lack of effort and motivation.

This weekend is my 2 year old's birthday so we have been busy with family and stuff... GLAD I missed this game! I honestly never stop caring, but I might have to start avoiding watching this basketball team. They just leave me in an awful mood after their games are over.

You should change your handle .

Mizzou has a 1st year coach. They've lost 10 straight. Mizzou fans believe they have hit rock bottom. It's a must win game for us. And I do believe we'll win going way.

Already paid, so I'll go. And I can put my feet into the seat in

front of me.

Mizzou's definition of "rock bottom" and ours are two completely different things. Miz actually has a pretty good basketball tradition, way WAY better than ours
