Thoughts on the potential transfer from Kansas?

Sounds like a really solid player according to Korn's report. (A safety who graduates in May & would be immediately eligible.)
 
My concern is....are we really that bad off. Kansas couldn't possibly have any good players.
 
Did you not watch our defense last year? It wasn't just scheme that went wrong. Big12 throws the ball a lot, so the kid had plenty of passes to defend
 
He definitely has good size at 6'2", 210 lbs. If we have an open scholly and we don't see any other player that might be a possibility to bring in, I say go for it for the one year. If nothing else, it provides depth.

Yeah no way a transfer from Kansas could play in our loaded secondary.

Even the worst football teams have a few good players on their teams. This kid will be a senior who has been a major contributor at the college level. His experience alone would be an asset.
