If tickets are on your phone, how do you prove purchase if for some reason your phone doesn't respond at time of event?

If I understand your question correctly. — They recommend you download to your phone wallet . I was new to it last year. It’s pretty simple. Btw. Mine is iPhone . They ask to download tix prior to event because cell service may not work in big crowds , etc. so your thinking is correct. You may be able to send them to your email, not sure .
Also. A good tip is to have your screen brightness turned up when scanning at gate. It’s easier for the scanners.

The wallet option has never failed me…surely android has a similar functioning app but I’m not invested enough to look it up
