flagrant 1. I still don't get how they got 4 freethrows and the ball. I understand that with a flagrant 1 it's freethrows and the ball. Why didn't they shoot the tech free throws and then shoot the regular free throws normally?
maybe i didnt hear right, but few plays later I thought the MSU player got a F1 too. But we didnt get the ball. While they went to the replay on both, to get them right, I thought the refs were very lousy tonight. ... for one a player cannot hold the ball on the court ( pressing down on the ball) that is a turnover, even the announcers call that...

I don't understand the officials' ruling, but Coach Martin didn't seem upset about it, so I assume they got it right.
To be honest, Carrera was fortunate -- had he made contact with the MSU player's head, he would have been ejected for sure.
