Darius Gray is an elite 4-star 6-foot-4, 275-pound offensive guard from St. Christopher’s in Richmond, Virginia who has 38 offers, including from several big-name Power Four programs.
And Gray has a major announcement to make on Christmas Eve, he told me. “Hey! Hope all is well. Top 12 coming on Christmas Eve!”
Expect South Carolina, who has been making several inroads with him, to be included on that list.
Carolina has long been recruiting him. He camped with the Gamecocks during the summer of eighth grade in 2022. Gray has been on various other visits to Columbia throughout his high school recruitment.
He visited during the off-season and for games against LSU and Texas A&M this year.
USC was the No. 4 Power Four program to offer him following Virginia, Virginia Tech, and Penn State.
Other major programs are also making inroads with Gray, such as Georgia, Ohio State, Michigan, Miami (FL) and Tennessee.
