Steve Spurrier took him to the woodshed "OFTEN." If you have the players to compete, he can be beat. Ergo, he is NOT what ails us. So, who cares if he stays or go? Ya think some new kid on the block is going to go any easier on us the he did! With their talent level, any good respectable DC can keep them winning games.
Some of you are just having a bit of fun with Venables leaving. I get that. But, I sure do get the feeling some may actually believe that once he is gone, our chances of beating them will 'shoot' up. Not gonna happen. Our chances of winning, for the most part, correlates well with better talent, in depth talent and a solid QB. I'll take my chances with that formula long before I go worrying about where Venables is going to coach next year. Ditto regarding OC changes AT THIS TIME. So stay or go Coach Venables. This ol boy could not care less.
