Scott Hood is reporting a multi-part interview with Lorenzo Ward. The most recent interview has Ward telling us that we have four " very good' linebackers. Given the abysmally bad 2014 defense, Coach Ward's words mean nothing to me. I am approaching this football season with fear and trepidation. We are stuck with Ward, Botkins and Adams who produced one of the worst , if not the worst defense by the Gamecocks I had the misfortune to watch since 1967. That is forty-eight years of Gamecock football. I hope Coach Hoke can redeem this bunch, but I have my doubts.
