We ran a play to center for last kick but it was on right hash when White kicked it

What happened between centering the ball for our next to last play then on the last play, Parker White kicked the ball from the tight hash mark?
Did the refs mess up or was there some reason it was moved?

Timeout called by coach before play. Clock was still rolling and they were worried time was going to run out before taking a knee.

And it was a good timeout because at the snap we were cutting it dangerously close. With inexperience at QB no reason to risk a penalty or time running out.

There was never a play. We called timeout before we snapped and took a knee

There was never a play. We called timeout before we snapped and took a knee

The ball goes back to its original position ( which was on the right hash mark ) because the timeout was called prior to the snap.
