We still have something to look forward to, Hallmark Christmas Movies start October 22nd. The Hallmark Christmas Movies

I'm there, man. Love me some Hallmark movies. Though my wife and I agree that I don't start watching them until after Halloween. From Halloween until Christmas though, it's locked on Hallmark movies.

Yeah, my wife gets pissed at me when we get 15 minutes into these type of movies and I tell her how it's going to end. :) As a result, she watches them by herself now. Fine by me, I'll be in the kitchen putting paper cuts on my fingers.

Aw, man, that's my favorite thing about them. Usually within the first 5-10 minutes you know the two characters who are going to end up together. My favorite part is that there's always some simple misunderstanding with about 20 minutes to go in the movie that causes the couple to part ways. Of course it always gets resolved by the end.

And the other predictable part about those movies is one of the main characters works for a large firm in NY, Chicago or some large city and they go back to their home town to same the family farm, factory, store, etc. LOL!

We now have three Hallmark Networks. The wife is chronically hooked. I used to be cynical about it but I totally get the wonderful escapism and wistfulness that is Hallmark addiction.

Indeed. I have only ever watched at Christmas, but it's just as you say. There's something to escaping in nice, neat little world where folks are friendly and things always work out. The movies are overly positive. No language, sex, drugs or excessive alcohol.

Script Title: Big Gunn Christmas

Big time NFL player and recent successful Head College coach Drew Gunn returns to U of SC to take over program in shambles. Cynical big city girlfriend is in tow with massive 3 carat finger flame.

Upon arrival Drew meets former wallflower girlfriend Look Atmenow, sparks fly. Drew hires proven, successful head coaches, retains all players, dominates the portal, rehires Mike Morgan, and changes name back to cursive SC for everything gamecock related with Supreme Court agreement. Movie ends with Drew and Look opening presents at Christmas. Look gets an even bigger engagement ring and Drew gets the new wildly popular COCKS cap. (With HM censor approval).

Two future scripts in development. Hallmark script with Christmas celebrating first National Championship next Christmas and ID network thriller DABo of Darkness. Ex Drew Gunn girlfriend and recently fired and disgraced Dabo Sweeney crash and kidnap Drew Gunn. Ray Tanner hires an ineffective negotiator, but Connor Shaw and ex 2010s players rescue Drew in dramatic fashion. Sweeney and girlfriend are hiding in backwoods of Alabama.

It's not Christmas until Santa passes in front of Macy's. I don't need any Christmas movies, songs, decorations, whathaveyou before then. The ONLY thing that is acceptable before that moment is Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark in both milk and dark chocolate. K? Thanks.
I've been to Ghirardelli's in SF. The first time I went to SF, Ghirardelli's had a factory opened to the public, it was neat, however it wasn't there the last time I was in SF. Please let me past this along, there are other brands of Peppermint Bark better than Ghirardelli's and cheaper, too.

Ok, so what's the better Peppermint Bark better than Ghirardelli? Will pass along to my wife so that she can try it.

My wife hoards the dark chocolate, think she still has a bag or two left from last Christmas.

Well, we have the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama, and Hallmark Mysteries and Movies. I have no idea the differences, but everything ends happy I think.
We have Hallmark Channel and Mysteries but we don't have Hallmark Drama. As soon as my wife hears about that channel we will have that one, too.

I can't remember the brand name but it's sold at Big Lots during the Christmas season.

Don't want to ruin any of the movies but the man falls in love with the woman. The woman doesn't like him at first then falls in love with man. Then she finds out something the man is hiding. But it isn't bad as she thought then they get together in the end. The end

No machine gun action?

Hallmark movies make my skin crawl. Terrible acting and plots. My wife likes them though. Don’t understand why.

I’m with some others. I don’t even have the the hallmark channels thank the lord. Christmas does not start in my house until December 1st. I don’t like the fact that Halloween and thanksgiving get skipped over.

Halloween is the best holiday of the year anyway in my household.

The Hallmark Channel taught me that Meghan Markle is actually a pretty good actress. Prince Harry learned that lesson the hard way.

...and the town or struggling mom-n-pop company gets saved, the big city exec realizes they belong in the country, and the snowflakes never melt, even when they land on your face.

These movies are 100% cheesy...but I can't get enough of them.

As someone said, they do have nice endings.

October? My wife has been watching them since July. Always the same story. The girl with the big job in the big city has been destroyed by a bad relationship. Comes to her little small town for Christmas. Finds true love with the local plumber, tree cutter, or old high school boyfriend.

You pretty much summed up plots. Hallmark does start showing Christmas Movies on Friday nights and Saturday nights starting in the summer. I guess some people can't get enough of them.

I haven't watched one in years. I can't imagine anything I could do that I would enjoy less.

My wife really likes Hallmark movies. After watching a few of them I told her I have never seen so many 30 year old widowers or widows (with young kids) in my life.

One other thing I will add, there are only about three female stars and about three male stars that make about ten Hallmark Movies each. You will see one person star in about 10 movies.

Ha ha. The woman goes back home to her parents house. Meets the landscaper who then convinces her to stay. Her car breaks down on her way out or her assistant comes looking for her and figures out she needs to stay. You can figure out the ending about 20 minutes in but damn I still watch it just to see the ending. And the Olsen twins are decent actors and have kept some good looks

Oh, Great. Thanks for ruining all the 2021 show endings for the rest of us! And the 2020 reruns we missed. And the 2019 season shows we missed. And the...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
