South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer and his staff are amidst another busy week on the recruiting trail as the entire staff hits the road to check in on committed prospects, final 2022 targets and to go by the school of underclassman targets.

** Beamer's in-home visit with defensive tackle D'Andre Martin, who went public with his pledge today (Tuesday), took place on Monday along with defensive line coach Jimmy Lindsey. Martin is set to sign with the Gamecocks during a ceremony next Wednesday at 1 p.m.

On Sunday, Beamer referenced during his bowl announcement press conference that he was on a recruiting visit to Florida. He was down there with defensive coordinator Clayton White and defensive backs coach Torrian Gray for his in-home with four-star DB pledge Anthony Rose.

Beamer and White are scheduled to be at the school of priority LB target Stone Blanton today in what will be the coaches' final opportunity to meet with Blanton before he makes his decision next week.

Beamer and Marcus Satterfield are also scheduled to fly to Texas where he'll meet with receivers coach Justin Stepp, who is already there working his territories, for a meeting with newly minted four-star WR Landon Samson.

Beamer, Satterfield and Stepp are also set for an in-home visit with big-time Oklahoma tight end transfer Austin Stogner, who took an official visit to Carolina last week.

Later in the week, Beamer is set for visits with four-star RB Ramon Brown, four-star EDGE Jaishawn Barham, QB commit Braden Davis and, of course, that all-important in-home visit with four-star WR Antonio Williams.

** On Monday, offensive line coach Greg Adkins stopped in to see South Carolina preferred walk-on OL pledge Jackson Hall at Belton Honea Path.

He also stopped in on Dorman HS, which is of course home to 2023 four-star OL target Markee Anderson.

Adkins was also by South Pointe (the North Carolina version) and Reagan HS.

Today Adkins is scheduled to hit Pennsylvania with stops at Delran, Archbishop and Wyomissing HS before another stop in to see four-star OL pledge Ryan Brubaker.

** Running backs coach Montario Hardesty was active in his South Carolina territory on Monday, checking in on Oceanside Collegiate (2023 four-star OL Monroe Freeling), Woodland (2024 four-star OL Kam Pringle), Philip Simmons (2024 WR Troy Stevenson) and Goose Creek High Schools.

Hardesty also conducted an in-school visit with South Carolina DL commit and Fort Dorchester standout Demetrius Watson, who is scheduled to play in the North-South game this weekend.

Today Hardesty is in Georgia for stops at Bradwell Institute, Appling County, Pierce County and Camden County.

Appling is home to 2023 RB Jaylen Johnson, who has emerged as an important target for the Gamecocks.

** South Carolina tight ends coach Erik Kimrey continues to mine his South Carolina territory at the beginning of this week as he checks in on Chapin, Irmo, White Knoll, Lexington, Brookland Cayce and Gray Collegiate.

Chapin is of course home to newly offered TE/H-back target Zavier Short and 2024 four-star QB Jayden Bradford.

Irmo is home to South Carolina LB commit Nick Emmanwori.

** After the D'Andre Martin in-home on Monday, Jimmy Lindsey will be active in Georgia for the next three days.

Lindsey will drop in on Georgia Military College, Northside, Warner Robbins, Peach County, Tattnall Square and Jones County today before an in-home visit with three-star DL commit Felix Hixon tonight.

That means Lindsey will be dropping in on the schools of two of his premier 2023 targets in four-star defensive linemen Victor Burley and Zavion Hardy as well as 2024 four-star WR Zion Ragins.

** After spending Sunday with Beamer and White at Anthony Rose's in-home visit, Torrian Gray was in Texas on Monday where he dropped in on several schools and then conducted an in-home visit with defensive back commit Peyton Williams.

Gray is scheduled to be in Pennsylvania on Tuesday when he'll conduct an in-home with four-star DB commit Keenan Nelson.

** Mike Peterson was in South Carolina on Monday, once again checking on Sumter (four-star DE Monteque Rhames), West Florence (2023 DB target Kelvin Hunter) and South Florence (2023 three-star QB LaNorris Sellers) High Schools

Today, Peterson is scheduled to hit some Florida schools, including meeting with R. Mason Thomas, a once priority target for the Gamecocks who committed to Iowa State.

** Special teams coordinator Pete Lembo met with preferred walk-on kicker target Upton Bellenfant in Tennessee on Monday before checking out a host of Tennessee schools on Tuesday as well.
