Would be nice if our government in someway related to the majority of the population.
You might want to wait and see if that's actually true or more propaganda.
Musk has said absolutely zero about cutting SS benefits.

You mean like the ones in there now?

That’s Hilarious
Why would you want people in the government to be like ordinary working people? We don’t need welders, mechanics, plumbers, construction, dish washers, electricians etc. etc. etc…………
We need smart, proven people to shape and build the greatest country in the world. Nothing less is acceptable. PERIOD
You might want to wait and see if that's actually true or more propaganda.

The ones in now are all mentally ill so your representing .003% of the population. Good jobI think the current ones are out of touch, imagine how out of touch these guys are going to be with people like yourself.
I didn't say we needed a welder in congress, but we need people who understand what life is like for a welder.
There isn't much to argue these people are smart other than they have great wealth.
This is the same argument you guys made about project 2025. Then he's added half a dozen project 2025ers to his administration within the first week.
It's amazing how easily these guys can fool you.
We also spend more on Defense than the next 9 countries combined. I, and I'm sure others, are sick and tired of being "Uncle Sam's" piggybank. I'm sure that the millions who are employed in this great nation by industries who sell to the Pentagon would disagree with me. But, it's time to put the Fed Government on a diet. If that means millions will lose their jobs, well, so be it. I will feel bad for them. But we can't go on with this forever.
. If that means millions will lose their jobs, well, so be it.
Which is exactly why none of this will actually happen. They'll end up cutting some money for SNAP and claim it as a big success while still running a huge budget deficit.
The best way to juice an economy is with government spending. Trump is going to do anything possible to fake success.
I'm afraid that we will get symbolic cuts but nothing really substantive. For the good of the country, we need huge cuts. John F. Kennedy wrote 3 books. The shortest of the 3 was "Profiles In Courage". Why? He did not have many people to write about. The more times change, the more things stay the same.Which is exactly why none of this will actually happen. The GOP had far bigger margins 20 years ago than they will in January. When W. Bush tried to privatize Social Security, the Republican Congress blocked him. I'm not saying you are wrong. What I'm saying is that there will be a lot of communication across the aisle to save each others' backs. There are a lot of GOP House members who are in "purple" districts. There are at least 2 GOP Senators (Collins and Murkowski) who don't always go the party line. The following adage REALLY, REALLY applies here:The only way this happens is if somehow gets blocked in Congress by the same people you supported in the election.
Otherwise, we're about to witness change like we've never seen before in our lifetime.

Agree 100%. With the proper use of social media blasting names 24/7 of problem children trying to cause trouble this should get pushed through even if you have to pull out the sledgehammer from time to time. Nuke the whole thing. Whatever it takesThe only way this happens is if somehow gets blocked in Congress by the same people you supported in the election.
Otherwise, we're about to witness change like we've never seen before in our lifetime.

We need people like Musk and Bezos to pay more in taxes. But there is a reason why Musk spent nearly $300 million to help Trump win the election to avoid having to pay more in taxes.
It is a different year. But human emotions and biases don't change over time. People always look out for "number one".But you're still missing the point that many continue to -- this isn't Yesteryear.
The Democratic Party and Establishment Republicans are almost one in the same.
Currently. it's The Establishment Party vs. The American Party.
We'll see how it shakes out.
It is a different year. But human emotions and biases don't change over time. People always look out for "number one".
I WANT you to be right. I really do. $2 Trillion? Nowhere close.
I don't always agree with everything with those I vote for, nationally, state and local.I'm very confused by your positions, Stock.
You openly wanted Harris who desperately wanted to increase government and government spending.
How do you reconcile these polar opposite viewpoints?
I don't always agree with everything with those I vote for, nationally, state and local.
Without going into Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran benefits including healthcare for vets, I don't see $2 Trillion. Now if they spread it out over say 30 years, maybe. But I don't think they are talking about spreading it out.Ha. Well the last thing I would be doing is questioning whether Musk & Co. can pull off the $2 Trillion cut when you voted for the opposite.![]()

Ward, I don't put out yard signs, put on bumper stickers, etc. It's not going to matter because GDP is going to go through the roof.
It's not going to matter because we're going to get rid of millions of illegals we're paying for.
It's not going to matter because we're going to bring big industry back to the US through tariffs.
It's not going to matter because we're immediately going to start exporting oil and Europe is dying for it.
It's not going to matter because the US is going to be heavily invested in Bitcoin and pump the price for years.
It's not going to matter because US is going to collect on it's debts and stop supporting the dole (Canada, EU, NATO etc.).
It's not going to matter because of many of measures which aren't included above.
Anything Musk/Vivek can save us each year will simply be a bonus.
Stock - What did you do with all of your Harris/Walz yard signs?![]()
Ward, I don't put out yard signs, put on bumper stickers, etc.
I do want the nation to succeed. I will praise Trump when I can and criticize when I must.
Do I believe $2 Trillion will be cut from January 2025 to January 2027? Of course not. If it is, I will be glad to say I was wrong.
Why does it matter that I don't believe $2 Trillion will be cut? We need to cut where we can. And again, I don't always agree with everything any politician I voted for says. Why do you care if it's $1.2 Trillion or $2 Trillion when you voted for the exact opposite?

I've never come across a perfect politician. It was the entire premise of the election.
You voted for more war spending.
You voted for bigger government.
You voted for more handouts.
You voted to prop up illegal aliens.
I enjoy the Stock pivots as much as anyone, but this is as absurd as it gets.![]()
BTW, if I pivot on Bitcoin, I'm sure you will really love that. LOL I hope it doesn't come to that though. It was the entire premise of the election.

I remember these days.
HOUSTON—Calling the popular musician traitorous for failing to support President George W. Bush in a time of crisis, thousands of country stations across America reportedly refused to play Beyoncé’s music Thursday after the artist condemned the Iraq War. “If she doesn’t want to support our troops risking their lives out there for the cause of freedom, then we don’t need her,” said country radio executive Hunter Roeloffs, one of many station owners who blacklisted the recent singles “Texas Hold ’Em” and “16 Carriages” after controversial comments in which the star expressed reservations about the U.S.-led Coalition invasion of Iraq—remarks that also led to a reported drop in ticket sales and Beyoncé losing a sponsorship deal with Lipton. “Unlike Miss Knowles, we’re proud Americans here at 100.3 the Bull. We support freedom, whether it’s here or in the Middle East. So when she says innocent lives will be lost, I can’t help but wonder how she could possibly think a bloodthirsty dictator like Saddam Hussein is innocent. And then there’s that line of hers about being ashamed of President Bush? Well, we’re ashamed of her. How about that?” At press time, Beyoncé had attracted additional criticism from the country music scene after rebranding herself as the Chicks.
