Well, our Poor

Joetato gives more blanket pardons to the rest of his criminal family and friends. Then resigns after Christmas. Kamala becomes the first woman President and give Joetato his own blanket pardon.

The Bidens live happily ever after with all their grifted millions.

I look forward to the next 4 years of constantly complaining about spending but never actually cutting spending.

Especially when we have people in the southeast U.S. displaced by Hurricanes. The Biden America Last Administration can’t end soon enough for me.

The Trump administration gave hundreds of millions to Africa too and no one on here said a word.

The Prosper Africa program has been going on for decades.

You missed the part about FEMA only offering a max payment of $30K for a house that's worth 10-20x of this figure.

Most get closer to $3K. What exactly are they supposed to do with that?

Many of these people didn't have flood insurance because why would they?

But you know all of this because of your humanitarian efforts up there a few weeks ago, right?

Meanwhile, Biden continues to push through billions to Ukraine and other nonsense.

If you guys would introduce a bill to properly fund FEMA, the democrats would gladly support it.

Wonder why you guys won't do that?

But this is honestly the impressive thing about Republicans. You've created the government failures but have managed to spin it to blame the Democrats.

It's wild that the people who are hurt the most by your policies don't understand that.

So this is funny? That entire area remains a disaster today. Comeon Watson.

Get rid of FEMA. Fund it but distribute it to locals to carry out and disperse the funds. The gov personnel are staying in 5 star hotels taking vacations instead of taking care of the poor devastated victims. Cut all those useless partisan jobs immediately

Agree. I think the timing of this whole thing will make it a focal point for the new DOGE Department and Musk/Vivek.

FEMA workers are staying in 5 star hotels? Haven't heard that one. I think the FEMA workers are going to be surprised at that news since they have very specific requirements about where they can stay.

Getting rid of FEMA and distributing "to locals" doesn't get expenses. Most states don't want to do such work. Plus, some states only experience such disasters once a decade or more. Those states aren't interested supplying employees that don't do anything for years.

We just had a hurricane where some Republicans were mad at FEMA and Joe Biden because only $750 in temporary assistance could be handed out initially because Congress itself passed a law that limited them to handing out only $750 in temp assistance

----when Trump's FEMA only handed out $750 in temporary assistance during disasters during his first term--- and he never even hinted at changing it or adding to it

It's like beating your head up against the wall to talk to some of these people.

That's what's scary. We try to reason with them, and they think we're elitist.

Lying to them is wrong, but it may be what we have to do going forward.
