This is what you guys don't truly understand about how the world works. To lead long term you have to build a coalition. While Trump's antics the first three weeks make you more extremist, it's not winning over anyone who didn't vote for him. He's only losing people who voted for him.

This is a United States Attorney, with the credentials to one day be a nominee for the US Supreme Court, accusing the current administration of committing a quid pro quo bribe to drop the charges of Eric Adams and trying to hide the evidence.
The actual weaponization of the DOJ has started.
That's going to be his issue with Congress - and already has been in some places. He's talking about it. He's just not providing any evidence of it.
Notice also- he's accused some federal employees of crimes so far- but there has been NO word at all about DOJ involvement in prosecuting anything.

I listen to a Podcast called Flight Safety Detectives on a weekly basis.
The podcast is Greg Feith, John Goglia- longtime NTSB crash investigators and now longtime aviation consultants (Greg was the in- charge investigator of the ValueJet Everglades crash and the USAIR 1016 crash in Charlotte in 1994) and the podcast also includes former Boeing Electrical Engineer Dr. Todd Curtis.
BTW- John was one of the NTSB's maintenance expert consultants on the American Airlines 191 crash in Chicago in 1978
You can see both Greg and John on numerous flight investigation documentary shows like Mayday Air Disaster on the Smithsonian Channel.
They had an episode this week where they described the FAA in total disarray right now due to the top leadership leaving in the last month. I was surprised a bit that they said this on the air.
Now, their show is not political. But they've had pretty good things to say about the FAA's Director in the last year, but of course Musk forced him out. (Ted Cruz also said very positive things about him).
Dan Abrams talked a bit about this on his radio show. Ordering the case dismissed "without prejudice" is quite strange here.
This means they can bring the case back up at any time. It's almost as if they want to hang it over his head.
It's also odd given they caught him red handed involved in bribes - and also say they have clear evidence of him destroying evidence.
(Also odd is that right before Trump started bragging about him, Republicans and numerous talk show hosts also regularly accused Adams of illegal activity saying he should be prosecuted)
One of his top deputies is under investigation by the city district attorney for taking bribes. That case is going forward.
The crazy thing is - Adams political career is over. He's deeply unpopular in New York for many reasons. There is no upside for him.

Joe Biden had classified documents scattered over multiple locations. Gave them to a book writer. DOJ said he was old and senile and refused to prosecute him.
Trump had classified documents at Maralago. Gave them to nobody. DOJ tried to lock him up for the rest of his life.
