Well, our Poor

Republicans need to do away with the filibuster and start shoving through legislation. Chuck Schumer and every Democrat other than Manchin and Sinema already said they were going to get rid of it if they took power. Republicans needs to go on offense instead of waiting for Democrats. Make election integrity the first laws passed, and Democrats will never win another national election. If they don't, Dems will cheat their way to power again and do away with it and pass all kinds of crazy, including making EVERY illegal a voting citizen with full access to social security, medicare, medicaid, and every other program out there. It will absolutely destroy this nation, which is what they want. It's now or never. Thune better figure it out fast.

Lots of nervous Dems worried about their "personal information" being accessed. And by "personal information", I mean how much they have personally profited off the taxpayer.

Lovin' it. Even the butthurt meltdown here is pure entertainment.
How much they have personally STOLEN... PROFIT means you earned it. They have earned NOTHING.

Obama and Hillary have to be getting a little uncomfortable at this point.

Anybody with at least 2 brain cells knew the whole "russian collusion" story was a Dem created lie. They were willing to push the relationship with a nuclear superpower to the limits and lie about them in order to keep power. Not sure how any sane person still supports the Democrats. They will do anything and lie to anyone to win.

One of the proudest moments for me in years when comes to my country and the actions taken by the federal govt was to see every one of the intel members backing the Russian collusion and by extension the Hunter laptop getting their security clearance revoked. What a happy day that was

Are you Russian?

Anyone with a brain sees why Russia was colluding to help Trump. Russia was losing the war in the Ukraine without getting boots on the ground from Western nations. Now they're going to win the war solely because Trump was elected.

It's honestly impressive how Russians convinced people like you and Ward to vote against your interest. Though Ward might actually be Russian.

This is outrageous! Hopefully Pete Hegseth and Elon Musk will find out where the money is being siphoned off.

“During 2024, the US Army siphoned off at least $151 million from the soldiers' food budget and diverted it to other uses. A review of financial records from just 11 installations revealed that $151 million, or 67%, of the $225 million Congress allocated to buy food for soldiers living in barracks bought something else, though no one is exactly sure what.” (Red state.com)

Do you want to be an ally with Russia?

If I had to choose between the two, I'd take Russia over Hillary Clinton right now.

She spent her entire career making them out to be the boogie man while she fleeced America.

Does this mean Russia is virtuous? Not all at.

It simply means Hillary and her goon squad were horrific.

Obama wasn't much better.

What are you even arguing about at this point when you see the grift being exposed on an hourly basis?

Certainly you have something better to do than fighting for the apparatus that screwed our country over?

It's very clear now that they looted us from every angle possible for 4 years.

And not garden-variety looting, it was really evil stuff where people's lives were on the line.

We can guess where the money went: very likely to feed the illegal aliens invading our nation. Image that possibility….our soldiers feeding the invaders rather than themselves.

I'd rather have a leader that would actually sit down and talk to our adversaries rather than use the media to relay one word messages like "don't". Pathetic that was at best and everyone across the globe knew it.

So you would rather your leader talk with our adversaries and through those discussions, give our adversaries what they want?

Here's how negotiations usually work. Not a surprise liberals wouldn't comprehend as they are notoriously bad at it. Successful negotiations usually benefit both sides and yes, both sides may end up getting something they want. Sounds like Biden and the Dems may have very well taken your approach of giving/doing nothing and as a result we have a world on fire and a high level fear among Dems of the Russians.

What you're describing is appeasement and not negotiations. Russia isn't going to give up anything that makes our world safer. You're just giving them time to build back for the next conflict while hurting your own allies.

I don't agree with the person who gave this speech with much, but one thing he was right about was doing the right thing. It's easy to take the easy way out, but it only prolongs the suffering

Admittedly, there's a risk in any course we follow other than this, but every lesson of history tells us that the greater risk lies in appeasement, and this is the specter our well-meaning liberal friends refuse to face, that their policy of accommodation is appeasement, and it gives no choice between peace and war, only between fight or surrender. If we continue to accommodate, continue to back and retreat, eventually we have to face the final demand, the ultimatum. And what then, when Nikita Khrushchev has told his people he knows what our answer will be? He has told them that we're retreating under the pressure of the Cold War, and someday when the time comes to deliver the final ultimatum, our surrender will be voluntary, because by that time we will have been weakened from within spiritually, morally, and economically. He believes this because from our side he's heard voices pleading for "peace at any price" or "better Red than dead," or as one commentator put it, he'd rather "live on his knees than die on his feet." And therein lies the road to war, because those voices don't speak for the rest of us.

You and I know and do not believe that life is so dear and peace so sweet as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery. If nothing in life is worth dying for, when did this begin - just in the face of this enemy? Or should Moses have told the children of Israel to live in slavery under the pharaohs? Should Christ have refused the cross? Should the patriots at Concord Bridge have thrown down their guns and refused to fire the shot heard 'round the world? The martyrs of history were not fools, and our honored dead who gave their lives to stop the advance of the Nazis didn't die in vain. Where, then, is the road to peace? Well it's a simple answer after all.

You and I have the courage to say to our enemies, "There is a price we will not pay." "There is a point beyond which they must not advance." And this - this is the meaning in the phrase of Barry Goldwater's "peace through strength." Winston Churchill said, "The destiny of man is not measured by material computations. When great forces are on the move in the world, we learn we're spirits - not animals." And he said, "There's something going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like it or not, spells duty."

Bridgestone closing tire plant in Tennessee. Also announces layoffs in Iowa.

" My financial perspective suggests a deeper trend: growth is becoming more challenging. Companies that distribute auto parts and other imported goods will face higher costs, forcing them to raise prices. This, in turn, affects broader supply chains and consumer spending," Kevin Thompson, CEO of 9i Capital Group

"
This is some cause for concern among layoffs, especially from some large construction employers, of which there are a few. A drop in construction employment could forebode some more problematic signs for the economy as a whole." Alex Beene, University of Tennessee at Martin.
