Well, our Poor

Here's how negotiations usually work. Not a surprise liberals wouldn't comprehend as they are notoriously bad at it. Successful negotiations usually benefit both sides and yes, both sides may end up getting something they want. Sounds like Biden and the Dems may have very well taken your approach of giving/doing nothing and as a result we have a world on fire and a high level fear among Dems of the Russians.

Retired General Tells Fox Putin Will ‘Wait Out’ Trump Term Then ‘Take’ Ukraine Anyway

Violence and murder like this make me fear for my trans family member, possibly the kindest person I know.

“The facts and the circumstances of this crime are beyond depraved. No human being should have to endure what Sam endured.” said Ontario County District Attorney Jame Ritts

Major Kevin Sucher of the New York State Police said the facts and circumstances of the case were "beyond depraved" and "by far the worst" homicide investigation his office had undertaken. "No human being should have to endure what Sam endured," Major Sucher said.

“Sam was subjected to repeated acts of violence and torture in a manner that ultimately led to his death,” Capt. Kelly Swift with the New York State Police said

Swift described the case as “one of the most horrific crimes” she has ever investigated in her 20-year law enforcement career.

Police said the victim had suffered "prolonged physical and psychological abuse at the hands of multiple individuals"

Unfortunately they’ve been the killers here in the US. Thank God they stopped this one but unfortunately they are the school shooters of today.

The Nashville shooter identified as trans.

One thing is VERY clear: the modern trans movement is radicalizing activists into terrorists.

Both sides take errors and use them for their benefit. Happens all the time. Reasonable people understand this.

The President saying something was going to a terrorist organization when it clearly wasn't isn't a minor error. It's a lie or - at best- a gross misrepresentation of the truth because the implication is obvious illegal actions- sending money to a terrorist organization.

Accusing people of major crimes when it's clearly untrue isn't a minor error.

A minor error would be saying it was going to France when it was really going to Spain and he got it confused. Or that $50 million was the amount when it was really $43 million.
So now Afghanistan run by the Taliban is not an adversary? Really? Most reasonable people realize that it is.

This is actually a good point. Trump was the guy who negotiated a peace deal with the Taliban. Is that really the guy we want negotiating peace with Russia?

Sorry, he negotiated a withdrawal of US Troops, which Biden then completely botched. The election of 2020 cost 13 American soldiers their lives along with many US citizens left behind in disgrace.

Of course, it's always someone else's fault with you guys.

It certainly wasn't the fact that Trump negotiated a peace deal with the Taliban without involving the Afghan Government. The parallels with the Ukraine couldn't be more perfect.

What's the saying, fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Funny that the Trump voters thought he was just going to fire the brown people and women.

Republicans starting to push back- behind the scenes- efforts to save funding and put it in other agencies

Trump’s cuts hit red states, triggering GOP pushback

Sen. Jerry Moran, another GOP appropriator who represents the agriculture-heavy state of Kansas, has told the White House that DOGE’s dismantling of USAID will impact constituents who have long relied on selling their crops to a government program that fights hunger abroad.

And Sen. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia, who chairs an appropriations subcommittee with jurisdiction over the National Institutes of Health, said her panel’s funding bill includes language to prevent the White House budget office from slashing billions of dollars in health research grant money. Capito has long been a champion of the NIH, linking the biomedical research agency’s funding to grant opportunities in her small state.

“I’m hearing from my institutions concerned about it,” Capito said in an interview.

Sen. Katie Britt, an Alabama Republican who serves on the Appropriations Committee, was among the first to speak out in favor of a “targeted approach” to reducing government waste. The University of Alabama at Birmingham has said the cuts to NIH would slow research and hurt the state’s economy.

Indeed. These guys don't really understand how the government works.

That's why none of these cuts are going to actually stick. All the grants and spending will be reimplemented. Trump will just rename whoever is spending the money to claim a "victory"

The only cuts that will stick are to the consumer protection agencies so he can others can abuse workers/customers to make more profit until the Democrats get back in power.

Biden gave the Taliban/isis free military hardware and weapons

You expected Biden to repossess all the property of the Afghan Army while fending off the Taliban enough to evacuate the country?

Imagine how many people would have died if there had been zero support from the Afghan Army in the last few months. It's almost like you guys don't even think about what you're saying.

But it's that lack of introspection that allows the republican ideology to exist. It doesn't hold up to any critical thinking.

One thing is VERY clear: the modern trans movement is radicalizing activists into terrorists.

The Colorado Springs shooter was Anderson Aldrich. While his attorneys claimed in court he was "non-binary" (not transgender. His family and friends said they had never heard him claim he was non-binary before the shooting and there was no evidence he had tried to do so. Several experts testified at the trial that Aldrich's "non-binary" proclamation was an attempt to somehow claim he identified with the people he killed.

Denver Shooting- one was trans. The other wasn't.

With the outright demonization of trans people coming from the most powerful politicians in the country for a number of years now, it's no wonder young, vulnerable people are under great mental stress. -

People can only take so much and then they strike back.

Actually, the vast majority of school shooters are young, white males who do not identify as anything but straight, white males.

Saying $100 million dollars worth of condoms is going to "Hamas in Gaza" is a lie. Trump is a politician, He lies a lot like all of them do. It's ok to say that. You won't be jailed for it. Trump might not love you long time though.

Even Musk admitted it wasn't correct.

I really liked the junk fee stuff they were doing

and them lowering the boom and fining Wells Fargo for lying and tricking thousands of their customers into loan products they never signed up for and weren't told about.

"the bank misapplied auto loan payments and made other mistakes, some of which led to improper auto repossessions. They also foreclosed on tens of thousands of homes for customers who had paid their mortgage on time, but the bank never applied their payment to their mortgage balance."

Imagine paying your mortgage on time and the bank foreclosing on your house anyway because of outright fraud...

Astronauts challenge Trump's 'abandonment' claim during extended space stay

astronaut Barry Wilmore dismissed claims of being abandoned as rhetoric.

"We don't feel abandoned. We haven't been abandoned. We don't feel stuck," he said. "We don't feel stranded. We come prepared. We come committed. That is what your human spaceflight program is. It prepares for any and all contingencies that we can conceive of. And we prepare for those."

Wilmore called on the media to “help us change that narrative.”

“Let’s change it to ‘prepared and committed,’” he said. “That’s what we prefer.”

Retired General Tells Fox Putin Will ‘Wait Out’ Trump Term Then ‘Take’ Ukraine Anyway

Maybe so. But as a result, fewer will die today and tomorrow which is pretty much Trump's stated primary goal... stop the killing. Now if he is followed by a republican in office, I would expect the same policies will stay in effect if they have been successful and Putin would continue to sit on his hands. If he''s followed by a weak (America last) democrat, yeah, the war will crank right back up.

What you're describing is appeasement and not negotiations. Russia isn't going to give up anything that makes our world safer. You're just giving them time to build back for the next conflict while hurting your own allies.

I don't agree with the person who gave this speech with much, but one thing he was right about was doing the right thing. It's easy to take the easy way out, but it only prolongs the suffering
I dont care who said what when, I dont live in the past and neither does Trump or Putin. What you are saying is we keep doing what hasn't worked. The only success the dems achieved across the globe was to destabilize it. Not only was that weak and lazy leadership, it failed to bring about anything positive in four years. After that debacle, the people wanted a different approach. Not Biden's and in case you haven't been paying attention, not Reagan's. Enter Trump. the change people voted for... even many former Dems. So sit back and watch how its done. Kicking and screaming if you like, it doesn't matter, change is here to save the day and the taxpayer.

Why would you post a retired General stating that once we elect another weak leader Putin might become aggressive again?

You're so confused Dave. It never ends.

Today's pseudo-liberals are very confused and have no deductive reasoning skills.

Their party and core beliefs got hijacked by corporations and these individuals have done nothing but cheer it on.

A Parade of Fools.

It's honestly wild we've reached the point where you're having to claim the person willing to fight is weak and the person afraid to fight is strong. Not a single person genuinely believes that.

This is precisely why our government is inefficient. How can it work well when half the people leading it are arguing up is down and down is up?

Last time Trump was president, I didn't stop enough to enjoy the brainless hysterical rants by the TDS left.

This time, I'm really enjoying the childish handwringing and absolute lunacy they employ to try to make a complaint.

Just remember, as far as the the little TDS turds on this board go, they don't believe half of what they say, and they know they're lying about the other half.

And yet they are practically owning several of you on here daily. Because all they ever want is a reply.

Oh for heaven's sake, we've already established he made an error in which countries were getting the aid. Your inept argument was that it was all going to our allied countries and for noble purposes which makes you a liar.

This is exactly the kind of person who needs to be fired. Anyone who has been with these corrupt agencies for years and years and drawing a nice paycheck from the American taxpayer and turning a blind eye to the graft and corruption going on is absolutely part of the problem. He sat there for years and never SAID anything and never DID anything about the waste fraud and abuse going on right under his nose. He owed it to his employer - the American taxpayer - to report this crap as is the case with all the other long term employees. This is why it is imperative that we just clean house with these corrupt bureaucrats and take back our government agencies.

It sums up the problem, Elon musk is ranting that he's finding government waste but he doesn't know what he's talking.

Just like he claimed to find people that were 150 years old collecting social security benefits because he and his doge staff didn't know how to read a computer programming language.

Maybe he's not actually finding waste and you shouldn't believe what he's saying?

I’ve used the ignore feature to avoid having to see the idiocy of the two TDS-afflicted posters. My life is so much better now.

All of their funding mechanisms are being cut off. The USAID was no doubt funding all of the opposition through back channel arrangements. Trump and Musk are literally starving the corruption beast:

“As President Donald Trump drains the swamp and DOGE chief Elon Musk roots out waste, fraud, and abuse, even the frustrated opposition is resorting to cuts on funding: Their donors are turning off the spigots.” (Newsmax.com)
