Well, our Poor

Here’s where markets were LESS than 18 months ago. SOME people are idiots. Markets are so over inflated it’s ridiculous. We’re in a MUCH needed correction with a ways to go.

On October 26, 2023, the stock market experienced a decline, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite ending lower, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average saw a slight decline.

Here's a more detailed look at the market performance on that day:

  • Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI):
    Fell 0.8%, or 251.63 points, to 32,784.30. 0
  • S&P 500 (SPX): Lost 1.2%, or 49.54 points, to 4,137.23. o

It's just wild you would rather be poor than allow a trans kid to play basketball in Kansas.
If I lived in Kansas I can tell you the safety of my daughters would be paramount over how much money I make. Wild that it wouldn't be for you. I've dealt with the danger sports can bring on a daily basis having spent a good chunk of my life raising two softball pitchers... a position in a direct line of fire with less that half a second to react to someone swinging a bat less than 40 ft away. And now I am watching my grand daughter do the same. Bank it, I would be fighting tooth and nail to make sure they or any other female was not pitching to a boy. We have enough to worry about as it is.

Weird none of the actual experts believe this. Easy for you to say when you're not the one losing any money.
EXPERTS……….. 🤣

One thing ELITES and EXPERTS have in common. They’re both morons and don’t have a CLUE!

I love the liberal experts. 100% wrong 100% of the time. The ONLY consistent!

51 Intel letter signers “more liberal EXPERTS” stating THE LAPTOP is “most likely “ RUSSIAN DISINFORMATION. 🤣

Translation: it’s definitely Hunter’s laptop

JOES FINE. ON TOP OF HIS GAME. CAN’T KEEP UP WITH HIM. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Y’all have become so easy

Say it with me. liberals are DONE

I guess the upside is at least your daughters can play softball then become seamstresses in the sweatshops that come back to the US from Vietnam.

When Kansas passed their law banning transgendered students from high school sports, the Kansas high school activities association said it affected 2 students. They didn't specify it was trans girls or trans boys.

When Kansas passed their law to "save girls sports" it was also pointed out that only 8.8% of the health studies focus on girl athletes, while 70.7% focus on boys.

The conclusion of the major study on this issue was: Sports medicine research has favored the evaluation of male athletes in most sports, including the majority of co-ed sports.

There has been no effort in any state that wants to "save female sports" to incentivize researchers to balance their scientific research by spending more money on girl athletes.

There has also been no effort by states to spend more money on developing girl sports in public schools

Even those of you celebrating the stock market imploding and millions of Americans facing severe economic concerns as a result, the issue is also as Trumper Bill Ackman said over the weekend- this will lead to inflated prices.

Anecdotal, but fitting for this thread.

When i complained in 2022 about the tanking stock market, my very liberal family member gave the "don't worry about it, investing is a marathon not a sprint" speech.

Amazingly, he's very concerned now, when he wasn't then. Don't you love consistency from the left?

It didn't last time and Ackman has since back-peddled on his aggressive posts even offering a direct apology.

Someday you'll be correct about something. :)

There's as much a chance of that happening as there is me doing that, zero... which brings us back full circle in the conversation to you liberals not being connected to reality.

The stock market in 2022 was recovering from a world wide pandemic, not the deliberate actions to sink the market.

I am confident you were consistent in 2022 and were very positive about how lousy the market was and never complained-ever- about inflation.

Gomer - Our monetary situation was far worse than COVID in the grand scope. We were getting ready to default. Get smarter.

"Look at me. I’m a Hamptons liberal.

I believe in progress—but not if it alters the historic district. I summer in a 7,000 sqft “cottage,” where I post about climate change from my wraparound teak deck beside a gas-powered fire-pit overlooking an infinity pool that’s slowly leaking into a freshwater aquifer.

I think racism is bad, actually… but I also think Bridgehampton has gotten a little too exciting lately. That said I just love diversity, in theory, if it stays west of the Shinnecock Canal and north of the highway.

I love to host fundraisers for causes I don’t understand, attended by people I can’t stand, to fight problems I’ll never face. The only working-class person I’ve spoken to all summer is the Ecuadorian guy who trims my hydrangeas—and I make sure to tag him in my stories to prove I’m “connected to the community.” The El Salvadorians are such noble people, as long as they leave by 5 p.m. and don’t use the outdoor shower.

I call everything “sacred” except tradition and everything “sustainable” except my lifestyle. But don’t call me out on it. Because if you do, I’ll call you problematic and divisive or worse… a Republican."

The difference of course is 2022 was done because of general market conditions. No one person could change the situation.

This one is purely based on the decisions of one person.

You know general market conditions will always work their way out. The markets can’t handle an irrational actor like Trump. It’s too much uncertainty. But keep telling yourself it’s just needless worry from the left instead of having an honest conversation.

Trumps approval soars to 53% up 4% from last week!!

EXCLUSIVE:Americans deliver shock verdict on Trump's controversial new tariffs

An exclusive DailyMail.com/J.L. Partners survey of over 1,000 registered voters conducted from March 31 to April 3 found that the Republican remains largely popular in the U.S.
The poll found that Trump's approval rating rose to 53 percent, a 4-point increase over last week when it was 49 percent.
Trump's rising approval rating is surprising given the flak the White House has received over the tariff order signed Wednesday.
It is up by 13 points since March 7 among those aged 18 to 29.

The daily mail is a tabloid. They’re trolling you.

Oh. Trump seals the deal with Europe then the only really big one left is China.

You get those two and Powell lowers rates at the next FOMC and our two House Gomers will switch from tariff experts to bragging about some new purchase they made.

The Circle of Life.
