What "situation" do I need to feel better about?
I do not post on here, much. I am center-left. But not far left. I am conservative on some issues. I suspect that some of my conservative friends here are liberal on some issues. I don't know that for a fact. But since I am not liberal on some issues, I am assuming that those of the conservative persuasion are not purely conservative on everything. I want to to make an exception about not posting on here because:
I really believe that Ward Jr is spot on about AI. I applaud him for posting that.
As a grandfather, I am careful not to butt in with their raising. That's not my role. I know that. However, AI is a cause of concern on the employment front. How many industries are finding ways to replace workers using AI in 2025? My guess is that the wave is already underway. AI can perform the job of computer programming, forming legal documents, customer support, data entry, copywriting, graphic design, accounting, driving and many other jobs. IBM plans to reduce 30% of its IT employees with AI. If IBM succeeds, you can bet your bottom dollar they will be copied.
Like I said, I wanted to make an exception about not posting here. And that's because AI transcends politics. It will impact people of all political bents. That being said, politics is not the end all. I don't care if your guy/gal wins or loses political office. We went to a play at the Koger Center yesterday (Les Miserables). On the way back with my son, daughter-in-law and one of their children, we drove by one home with a caravan of cars parked in front of it in their neighborhood. My daughter-in-law said that the family in that home lost a son years ago. Now, they had just lost a 2nd son at 30 years of age. I could not imagine that. I do not know that family. But my heart breaks for them. All the political wins in the world can't make up for that. Take care guys.

My wife is absolutely loving her new BMW i5 xDrive40. She's been in Hilton Head since Thursday and is loving the car. It's what she thought it would be and that is making her happy.
Now, she's talking about an upgrade to an M60 because she saw one in Hilton Head on Saturday.

My daughter was there for the show. She's seen it several time but it's one of her favorites. I've seen it so many times, so I skipped out this time.
I think their one policy was to steal from taxpayers. Democrats talk a lot about their intentions to save money but they never do anything about it.
The DOJ never intended to prosecute any of the blatant fraud, waste, abuse, and theft of taxpayer money that was cycling back to corrupt politicians, judges, and drug/sex-trafficking cartels.
We now find that USAID was providing supplies and cash to illegals at several spots along the trails from Venezuela to our southern border. It only took Trump 30 days to put a stop to what the Dems insisted required Congressional action.
This can't be stated enough. Remember all the faux angst about Trump "blocking" the bipartisan bill that would have allowed only a couple million a year in before wagging our fingers at the next few million?
I hope DOGE is able to follow the money back to Soros. It’s likely they’ll find that money finding its way into politicians’ campaign coffers and their pockets, which would violate numerous election laws.

Be careful with those bmw’s in Charleston. Two buddies who leased em both lost engines just driving through standing water after a good rain. They do not like to get wet. They truly are junk. Bmw tried to make them liable for the damage but lost both cases in court.Update
